The health and prosperity of any service market also depends on it being comprised of new executives, who are the future of firms and teams within them. This month, Lawyer magazine has published its first 20 under 40 Business Law list, precisely to bring to the forefront new, talented executives in the legal services market, putting the next generation at the forefront of this demanding industry. Compiled through nominations, the 20 under 40 list includes executives of in-house legal departments and law firms up to 40 years old who are changing the landscape of the legal industry through their work, initiatives, and successes.

The sheer number of nominations who were being considered made it a difficult contest so we had to compile lists of over 10 in-house law department executives and law firm executives, respectively. This demonstrates the calibre of those under 40 in the legal profession currently. We invite you to read the stories accompanying the 20+2 of the first "20 under 40 Business Law list, discovering how dynamic the lawyers in legal services sector are.

“International experience in legal processes that allows for a creative fusion of views and expertise”.

Led by Christina Georgaki, Georgaki & Partners Law Firm has successfully completed numerous Foreign Direct Investment and Residence Permits, each of which has led to significant investments in the Greek economy. These initiatives not only strengthen the financial landscape of the Greek economy, but also create new employment opportunities, contributing significantly to the economic development of the regions where they are implemented. Georgaki & Partners dynamic team has contributed to projects of major importance, including establishment of a new airline and the creation of a large pharmaceutical plant. These ventures have been significant to the
Greek economy, creating numerous new jobs, promoting the transfer of technology and strengthening local economies.

This achievement also required the rapid development of significant know- how in a short period of time. The lack of similar experience in implementing such initiatives meant that the Georgaki & Partners team was asked to start from scratch – a challenge for any firm, but one which Mrs Georgaki managed to lead and coordinate successfully. Georgaki & Partners, as part of its work in promoting and completing investments in the Greek economy, frequently collaborates with other law firms representing investors in various industries. Mrs Georgaki’s international experience in legal proceedings is invaluable in these cases, allowing for a creative fusion of views and expertise, with the aim of balancing Greek law with the international activities of the investor in question. Georgaki & Partners consistent upward progress is a reflection of its team’s strong project coordination capabilities and expertise, which enhances the ability of Foreign Direct Investments to boost Greece towards economic revitalization and sustainable development.
